Got Bloods?

Updated: Oct 14

Do you know anyone, or perhaps yourself, that went to the doctor because they were not feeling well but couldn't put their finger on it. They decide to go see a Doctor. What usually happens is the Doctor orders a blood test. The blood test is taken and the person goes back to the MDs office to get the results and is told there is nothing wrong. Yet deep inside the person knows they don't feel well, they just knew something is not right. Have you ever had this happen to yourself or someone you know? What's going on?

Let me digress. My mentor/friend of 25+ years, Dr Serrano, explained to me a long time ago what's going on. I should add that Dr Serrano is world famous for fixing sick people that the medical community said could not be fixed to working with the best athletes around the world. In fact, he is one of a handful of Doctors that the NFL,MLB, NHL,NBA contact when they have a star athlete and no one can figure out what is wrong. He has patients that fly to him from around the world. Dr Serrano was Dr House way before the TV show.

He taught me that on blood test you want some markers low or below range, some in the middle, and some at the high range or above range. That the blood test markers change every few years based on the NORMS of society! For example, today's 21-year-old male has ⅓ the testosterone that his grandfather had at age 21. Yet that is in the normal range because they change the parameters on the norms of society NOT what is best or optimal. Not everyone wants to be optimum but most people do want to be pain free and feel good and you need your bloods in the optimum range for that. So, Dr Serrano taught me the optimal ranges for performance and health many years ago.

For example, someone who is prediabetic, that will show up on a standard blood test. There are a number of markers to look at, not just 1 or 2. That can easily be reversed before it becomes diabetes. It's much better to address things sooner than later.

Recently, Dr Serrano told me to take Dr Bryan Walsh's Blood Chemistry Interpretation because Dr Walsh has a lot of new information to teach. I am glad that he recommended it! New information and research has come out along with new equations not on a blood test.

When I look at a blood test, I look for the markers to be in the optimal range and if not, I figure out what the physiology is doing to prevent an optimal number. What is causing the issue? This takes time and understanding of Cellular Biochemistry and Physiology. I have been Certified in ALL of Dr Walsh's Certifications and I am going to be finished with his 9-month Masters Program very soon. l help the people who are told that there is nothing wrong with them. I got you!
